Collection and Use of Personal Data

The Student and/or Legal Guardian expressly authorize Bolden Healthy Life Lda. to collect, store, and process their personal data and that of the Members, specifically the following: full name, date of birth, complete address, civil identification number, taxpayer number, image, and other information that may be necessary or convenient for the execution, performance, or termination of this Contract.

Data Processing Responsibility

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the GDPR), Bolden is responsible for the processing of the personal data of the Student and the Legal Guardian. The processing of the data is lawful as it is necessary for the following purposes: 

(i) managing reservations and participation in surfing lessons; 

(ii) communicating relevant information about the lessons and sea conditions; 

(iii) sending notifications about cancellations or schedule changes; 

(iv) complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

Data Protection Principles

Bolden Healthy Life Lda. ensures the processing of personal data of the Student and the Legal Guardian with full respect for the principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency, as established in the GDPR. It guarantees the exercise of the rights granted by the aforementioned legal framework (access; rectification; erasure; restriction; objection; and portability), as applicable, through the email bebolden.pt@gmail.com.

Data Sharing with Third Parties

Bolden will only share the personal data of the Student and the Legal Guardian with third parties in the following cases: 

(i) engaging third parties to provide certain services that require access to personal data, where such third parties will process the data exclusively for the purposes established by Bolden and in accordance with its instructions; and 

(ii) compliance with a legal obligation, ensuring that such sharing does not compromise the confidentiality of the data and meets the requirements of the GDPR.

Bolden Surf School, represented by Bolden Healthy Life Lda., is a school registered with the Portuguese Surf Federation and Tourism of Portugal.
